I wouldn t recommend this book Almost all of the characters are flat, especially the men That makes it really hard to understand the women s choices I don t mind flat characters in chick lit or horror books, but I do in serious novels that are trying to examine the human experience. The title doesn t make sense It s not a small choice to ch
Her 3rd published book, but the first one she wrote and you can tell The other two were well written, and this was not Don t waste your time. The cover illustration was so lovely, and so yes, I did judge a book by its cover But the pages between the covers didn t quite meet up to my high expectations The characters seemed so one dimensional, and the plot unbelievable There seemed no rhyme or reason to the choices made by the main characters, and I didn t get to know them enough to even care It was like reading a soap opera Chick lit inside a serious cover I would give this author another chance, but this book definitely didn t l The cover illustration was so lovely, and so yes, I did judge a book by its cover But the pages between the covers didn t quite meet up to my high expectations The characters seemed so one dimensional, and the plot unbelievable There seemed no rhyme or reason to the choices made by the main characters, and I didn t get to know them enough to even care It was like reading a soap opera Chick lit inside a serious cover I would give this author
