What a great quartet of stories this is A CONCEALED HAND is pure twisted Dickson, with all the dark jump at the shadows feel of her works DUST and VERMIN, and you ll never look at a game of canasta quite the same way again ABNER S WISDOM is a cheery piece about a man who wants to follow his wife into death It had an unexpected, uplifting twist at the end which made me revisit the story in a new perspective ARIA is a delightfully creepy little tale that will never make you look at your GPS the same way again It has the same kind of feel as some of Stephen King s early work And last, EPILOGUE is a fitting finale to this collection What are our final thoughts when we die Dickson answers this question in a unique way th
